As ancestry and a few ‘pro genealogists’ have complained so loudly about the database I was planning to host here, I have removed it.
I have been threatened, cajoled and just harassed by ‘them’ in ways I never imagined.
Let me say that I am not a ‘professional’ genealogist. I am a genealogist. I do this as a hobby. For fun. My goal was and remains to help connect family that was brutally ripped apart during slavery days in America. My interest in helping people at large is a little less so today because I have seen the ‘littleness’ of so many that I once thought better of.
My question for now is:
I am wondering if the ‘data privacy’ whiners can complain if anyone else has ‘their’ DNA matches in their tree? Where will the stupidity end!?
